The recessed 4 soft touched buttons and sleek curvature body housing design truly makes the Toyo 250 mini scale an exquisite design.

The Toyo 250 weighs in grams (g), ounces (oz), pennyweight (dwt), troy ounces (ozt) and offers parts counting. Yes parts counting, something few pocket scales can offer and you have the choice to select a sample size of 10 or 20 pieces. Perfect for counting capacitors, resistors and diodes to help in kiting electronic assemblies. The higher sample, 20 pieces, enables the scale to calculate a better average piece weight internally, since seldom do parts weigh the exact weight due to imperfections and wear.

The count operation works like this:

Turn "On/Off" key to turn scale ON
Press the "Count" key once. The display will show "S-10" (press the "Count" key again if you want to select the sample size of 20 pieces and the display would show "S-20")
Place 10 pieces of a sample on the platform.
The display momentarily with change from "S-10" to 10 and the "PCS" and "stability circle" in the top left quadrant of the LCD will be illuminate confirming the count of 10 pieces. Now you ready to count away.

The Toyo 250 features digital calibration with a 100 gram calibration mass (optional 100g cal is available for $6.50). Here is how it works:

Turn scale ON and allow the Toyo 250 to stabilize for 60 seconds
Press and hold down the "Unit Select" key for 3 seconds. The display will show "CAL" then "CAL 0" then 'LoAd" then "100" will appear. The scale will toggle between "Load and '100" until you place the 100 gram mass.
Gentle place the 100 gram weight on the center of the platform
Within seconds the scale will stop toggling between "Load" and '100" and the display will show "100.0", confirming the calibration is complete.
